The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 68 minutes, German Ekaitz made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. BASQUEL FC's Erubiel Hitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Carlos Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes BASQUEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Muc. German Ekaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that German Ekaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Hitz was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After having played for 80 minutes, German Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravenwest FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rolando Sabino fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BASQUEL FC's protests and gave Rolando Sabino a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes BASQUEL FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Sabino. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Ekaitz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Hitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erubiel Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the game, German Ekaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Erubiel Hitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ravenwest FC's Apolo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Favila in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that German Ekaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Hitz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ravenwest FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while BASQUEL FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
