Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leonel Madaleno took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Hitz. Erubiel Hitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Blas Favila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Chico came out and tried to block the shot, but Blas Favila slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 8th minute. Cristo Muc had several of the Jaque Mate Ice's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Emilio Chico as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Manuel Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot. BASQUEL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Gizon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Favila in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Favila came free, but Emilio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Hitz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno. But to his dismay, Leonel Madaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Teofilo Bonadona scored 3-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Hitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Blas Favila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Cristo Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Teofilo Bonadona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Hitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jaque Mate Ice's zone, Cristo Muc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Chico came out of the goal and Cristo Muc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Gizon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Emilio Chico made a huge save. A collision led to Jaque Mate Ice getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Apolo Lizar hit a great ball. Erubiel Hitz came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaque Mate Ice's Teofilo Bonadona. But to his dismay, Teofilo Bonadona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Favila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Gizon in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Gizon in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Chico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, BASQUEL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gizon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Leonel Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaque Mate Ice's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Madaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After having played for 69 minutes, Leonel Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaque Mate Ice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ladislao Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Jaque Mate Ice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Quentin couldn't finish the play. Cristo Muc charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Muc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BASQUEL FC's Cristo Muc got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Erubiel Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Fulgencio Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Leonel Madaleno lined in a short shot 4-6 behind a frustrated Erubiel Hitz. Leonel Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Lizar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Emilio Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Muc in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Jaque Mate Ice booed when BASQUEL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Hitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Madaleno in the 97th minute of play. The Jaque Mate Ice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jaque Mate Ice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
