After a rather tough play, Sportivo Italiano's Tomas Fernendo got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Moises Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Chano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márton Kántor got free with Elpidio Llanos in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Sportivo Italiano's Tomas Fernendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some careless play in the chunganito defense, Elvio Raymon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Cordareo. The chunganito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Cordareo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, chunganito's Jose Cordareo got control of the ball when Elvio Raymon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Cordareo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Moises Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Moises Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jose Cordareo made a huge save. After 78 played minutes chunganito got a freekick which was hit by Benito Florinio. chunganito's Amancio Sancho was substituted for Angelo Danel. A collision led to chunganito getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Benito Florinio hit a great ball. Moises Cordeiro had several of the chunganito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Jose Cordareo as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 89th minute, Dariusz Petrasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes, Sportivo Italiano's Elvio Raymon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jose Cordareo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Italiano reached it. Tomas Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Cordareo having to interfere. Sportivo Italiano played a much better game than chunganito and deserved their victory. The chunganito players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
