Apolo Telmo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Teofilo Bonadona sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Geleberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Jaque Mate Ice booed when Ravenwest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ravenwest FC's Apolo Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Madaleno in the 17th minute of play. Edgardo Cordeara scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Chico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Ekaitz in the 33rd minute of play forced Jaque Mate Ice's goalkeeper Emilio Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Evelio Geleberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Telmo having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Teofilo Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Madaleno in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Ekaitz was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Leonel Madaleno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Telmo. Ravenwest FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Madaleno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 56 minutes into the match, Teofilo Bonadona notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ravenwest FC's Apolo Telmo. Apolo Telmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico got control of the ball when Carlos Quentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Amancio Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Madaleno in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jaque Mate Ice's Evelio Geleberto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Ekaitz in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Chico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Madaleno hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Carlos Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Chico having to interfere. Emilio Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Quentin in the 91st minute of play. Teofilo Bonadona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Ravenwest FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Bonadona came free, but Apolo Telmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Apolo Lizar fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaque Mate Ice's protests and gave Apolo Lizar a yellow card for diving instead. Apolo Lizar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jaque Mate Ice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ravenwest FC for a fine match.
