Jaque Mate Ice's Emilio Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Lizbeth in the 3rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Madaleno during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Nío AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuculito Fox to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Evelio Geleberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Madaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Christian Atauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuculito Fox took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilio Chico. Jaque Mate Ice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Nío AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Bonadona. The audience was convinced that Leonel Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Daunte was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Bonadona got free with Joaquin Daunte in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Madaleno in the 22nd minute of play forced Nío AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Joaquin Daunte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christian Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leonel Madaleno struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joaquin Daunte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaque Mate Ice. With a little luck, Nío AFC's Joaquin Daunte got control of the ball when Teofilo Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Joaquin Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's Leonel Madaleno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Daunte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Madaleno in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Jaque Mate Ice's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Lizbeth came free, but Emilio Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Geleberto in the 45th minute of play. Teofilo Bonadona's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Daunte firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Lizbeth was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Nío AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Madaleno came free, but Joaquin Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Leonel Madaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Teofilo Bonadona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Daunte. Nío AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Bonadona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Madaleno in the 64th minute of play forced Nío AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Chico had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Christian Atauri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jaque Mate Ice's Apolo Lizar got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Madaleno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Daunte having to make a save. Joaquin Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Geleberto in the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Madaleno in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Daunte saved Nío AFC from getting behind. Fulgencio Bikendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Nío AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Madaleno came free, but Joaquin Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Apolo Lizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Daunte. Nío AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Lizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. There was no doubt that Jaque Mate Ice were the better team. Jaque Mate Ice's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
