With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Brais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Romero in the 38th minute of play forced Interurbana F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Iyan got free with Aldo Bernebe in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aldo Bernebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Romero in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Generoso Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C.A. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Interurbana F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
