Cesar Marz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Independiente.mf's goalkeeper Cesar Marz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Iyan. Cesar Marz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Iyan went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Fermin Nesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Marz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cesar Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Etor in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Independiente.mf defense, Gilberto Iyan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Marz. The Independiente.mf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Marz should have stopped the shot. Cesar Marz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cesar Marz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. There was no doubt that C.A. Independiente FC were the better team. C.A. Independiente FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
