Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baltasar Alfonso kicked off to start the match. Leon Cortez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Bazkoare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Chacarita's Jose Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Filipo in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Filipo got free with Jose Bazkoare in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when Chacarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Damião came free, but Jose Bazkoare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goalkeeper Jose Bazkoare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Alfonso. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jose Bazkoare successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jose Bazkoare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos Damião went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Damião in the 21st minute of play forced Chacarita's goalkeeper Jose Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Bazkoare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Carlos Damião showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Baltasar Alfonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merced AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jose Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Filipo in the 33rd minute of play. Jose Bazkoare was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Baltasar Alfonso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baltasar Alfonso really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jose Bazkoare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jose Bazkoare made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Baltasar Alfonso sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th match minute, Chacarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Jose Bazkoare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cosme Filipo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Chago to make the kick off. Dario Estebe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jose Bazkoare came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Merced AFC's Cosme Filipo. But to his dismay, Cosme Filipo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chacarita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cosme Filipo was slow to take the kick. During this time Merced AFC's players had a chance to rest. Ildefonso Florin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chacarita getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Esteve Joachim hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Alfonso in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Bazkoare saved Chacarita from getting behind. After 64 minutes of play, Merced AFC's Norberto Palban made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Bazkoare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, José Carlos Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Bazkoare was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, José Carlos Damião put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Bazkoare. When José Carlos Damião came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Merced AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Damião couldn't finish the play. Cosme Filipo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Bazkoare. Jose Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After 88 played minutes Merced AFC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Palban. If José Carlos Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Filipo in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Merced AFC booed when Chacarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merced AFC had played much better football throughout.
