Casimiro Joanes came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Merced AFC's Baltasar Alfonso. But to his dismay, Baltasar Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, PAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Duardo to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, José Carlos Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Casimiro Joanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Casimiro Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Xabat. Casimiro Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Filipo in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Merced AFC's Cosme Filipo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Joanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Casimiro Joanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Palban in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Merced AFC's José Carlos Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Joanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Merced AFC's Baltasar Alfonso in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A hard shot 56 in the game by Baltasar Alfonso from a close distance when the talented Casimiro Joanes managed to make a qualified save. PAR FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Damião in the 57th minute of play forced PAR FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Baltasar Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Joanes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 62nd minute José Carlos Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a little luck, PAR FC's Casimiro Joanes got control of the ball when Baltasar Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, José Carlos Damião reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casimiro Joanes. The goal made the score 0-8. Baltasar Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Joanes having to interfere. Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aycan Tokel in the 84th minute of play. Baltasar Alfonso took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Joanes. Casimiro Joanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 91st minute, Cosme Filipo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merced AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. The PAR FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merced AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
