Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narciso Giraldo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, ALE110's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Damião came free, but Rene Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Baltasar Alfonso notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ALE110's Rene Berto. Rene Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baltasar Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Rene Berto made a huge save. In the 9th match minute, Merced AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Perpinya to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Isaias Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Bizi charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Bizi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, ALE110 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Bizi to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Cosme Filipo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rene Berto. The goal made the score 2-0. 19 minutes into the game, Baltasar Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rene Berto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvador Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Foro in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, José Carlos Damião reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rene Berto. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 31st minute, ALE110's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cosme Filipo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Merced AFC's Salvador Lazcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Bras in the 32nd minute of play. Salvador Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Foro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Foro in the 35th minute of play forced Merced AFC's goalkeeper Salvador Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Baltasar Alfonso notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of ALE110's Rene Berto. Rene Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Carlos Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rene Berto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Berto was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and José Carlos Damião capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Carlos Damião really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rene Berto came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Merced AFC's José Carlos Damião. But to his dismay, José Carlos Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Rene Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Damião in the 64th minute of play forced ALE110's goalkeeper Rene Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Ermano during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rene Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Damião in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Baltasar Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merced AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Berto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Berto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos Damião went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. ALE110's Gaudencio Lucado was substituted for Narciso Giraldo. 90 minutes into the game, Cosme Filipo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merced AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALE110 the free kick. In the 90th minute, Cosme Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Alfonso in the 94th minute of play. Merced AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
