After 15 minutes, Pastor Lizardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AcinetobacterFC and the Patadura F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Pastor Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Jorrin in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play AcinetobacterFC's Pastor Lizardi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pastor Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Joel Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Gaizko struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Saverio Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AcinetobacterFC. In the 26th match minute, AcinetobacterFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Loi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Argi got free with Ruben Galindo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, AcinetobacterFC's Guido Gaizko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Nel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Guido Gaizko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AcinetobacterFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Gaizko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Flizs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Ruben Galindo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute of the match Patadura F.C. got a corner. AcinetobacterFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Argi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Patadura F.C.'s Romeo Argi to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruben Galindo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ruben Galindo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Patadura F.C.'s Americo Jorrin. But to his dismay, Americo Jorrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Patadura F.C.'s Saverio Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Heli in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of AcinetobacterFC booed when Patadura F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Patadura F.C.'s Saverio Nel got control of the ball when Guido Gaizko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Nel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guido Gaizko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Fulgencio Urre made a great header on AcinetobacterFC's corner, it was just that Patadura F.C.'s Saverio Nel managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AcinetobacterFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
