In the 29th minute, Aaron Chago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Chacarita's Aaron Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leo Otoniel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aaron Chago made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Astudillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chacarita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris Saint Germain the free kick. After 52 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Astudillo. Chacarita's Jose Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Iago in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Tono in the 59th minute of play forced Chacarita's goalkeeper Jose Bazkoare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Hermon. Isidoro Tono took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose Bazkoare. Chacarita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Aaron Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Chacarita's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Tono came free, but Jose Bazkoare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Pastor Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Gentza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Chacarita's Aaron Chago made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Savion was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chacarita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
