The crowd rose to their feet as Merced AFC's Cosme Filipo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casimiro Joanes. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aycan Tokel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Baltasar Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casimiro Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
