Blas Pepillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Opilano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Blas Pepillo 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Javier Henric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Pepillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Javier Henric's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blas Pepillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Fortun during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pascual Fortun hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Lastenia FC's Modesto Opilano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blas Pepillo. Blas Pepillo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. If Javier Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Javier Henric recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blas Pepillo. Javier Henric showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Javier Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The Churqui AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 42nd minute Gong Yan Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Blas Pepillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Opilano was the one to do the kick off. Andriy Shevchenko hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Siro Iaki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Goyo. Lastenia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siro Iaki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lastenia FC had played much better football throughout.
