The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernan Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Roldanillo having to interfere. When Fernan Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Peluca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Lluis couldn't finish the play. Kuno Agüero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Emanuel Vincent hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Astor Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Agüero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernando Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute of the match ME VOY AL MAZO got a corner. Peluca FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Cordarin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Fernando Gasteiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peluca FC's Kuno Agüero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Peluca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Abaurre came free, but Kuno Agüero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the game, Octavio Firme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ME VOY AL MAZO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peluca FC the free kick. Fernan Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Roldanillo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Gasteiz got free with Kuno Agüero in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Peluca FC's zone, Astor Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuno Agüero came out of the goal and Astor Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Feliberto Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ME VOY AL MAZO's Ildefonso Cordarin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kuno Agüero but with some difficulty. The supporters of Peluca FC booed when ME VOY AL MAZO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Astor Abaurre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kuno Agüero, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Fidel Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peluca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Ibañez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Roldanillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84thth minute of the game Fernan Lluis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ME VOY AL MAZO's Erubiel Roldanillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernan Lluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Erubiel Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ME VOY AL MAZO booed when Peluca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball.
