Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) San Martin FC's Celedonio Tiniebra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Velezcamp's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Tiniebra came free, but Virgilio Koldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Irrintzi in the 18th minute of the match. Ismael Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lehoi in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Celedonio Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Orzaize did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ismael Quiroga 24 minutes into the match. Andres Irrintzi had several of the San Martin FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ismael Quiroga as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Romulo Vela came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Velezcamp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Vela couldn't finish the play. Fernando Sandalio charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Sandalio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Fernando Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Tiniebra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Koldo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The supporters of San Martin FC booed when Velezcamp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Martin FC's Ismael Quiroga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save San Martin FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Andres Irrintzi made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Vela took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Quiroga. Ismael Quiroga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 58 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velezcamp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Velezcamp's Arnulfo Frasco got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute, Artemio Pierres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velezcamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ismael Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lehoi in the 70th minute of play. Ismael Quiroga came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Velezcamp's Hernan Lehoi. But to his dismay, Hernan Lehoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Ismael Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Romulo Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, San Martin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Vela came free, but Ismael Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Martin FC's Ismael Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Vela in the 79th minute of play. Narciso Ferdinand hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ismael Quiroga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andres Irrintzi went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Artemio Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Romulo Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velezcamp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Vela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, San Martin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Irrintzi came free, but Ismael Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Vela in the 91st minute of play forced San Martin FC's goalkeeper Ismael Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Koldo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Candido Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Velezcamp players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
