In the 26th minute Nereo Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Guillelmus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Koldobika's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. But to his dismay, Adolfo Maureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. 87 minutes into the game, Confederacion Argentina's Nereo Matei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Guillelmus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. After some careless play in the Pueblo defense, Nereo Matei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Guillelmus. The Pueblo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Guillelmus should have stopped the shot. Confederacion Argentina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
