The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evelio Primo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Guillelmus made a huge save. In the 5th match minute, Elpasillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Cruz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xerardo Baltanas in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Bide saved Elpasillo FC from getting behind. Fikri Özenli hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Evelio Primo scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Guillelmus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Domingos Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elpasillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Sadurni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerardo Baltanas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Baltanas in the 21st minute of play. Gustavo Guillelmus made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ermegildo Geofredo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Elpasillo FC booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Domingos Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elpasillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Sadurni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Xerardo Baltanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pueblo's Gustavo Guillelmus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Pueblo from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Fikri Özenli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Primo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pueblo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ermegildo Geofredo scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Guillelmus, making the score, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xerardo Baltanas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pueblo booed when Elpasillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pueblo's Gustavo Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Primo in the 61st minute of play. Ermegildo Geofredo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Guillelmus. Gustavo Guillelmus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 68 played minutes Pueblo got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Bobadilla. Pablo Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Baltanas in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Xerardo Baltanas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pueblo and the Elpasillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elpasillo FC booed when Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Baltanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Domingos Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xerardo Baltanas in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Pueblo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fikri Özenli hit a great ball. Gustavo Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Sadurni in the 88th minute of the match. Gustavo Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Agustin Bobadilla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xerardo Baltanas in the 94th minute of play forced Elpasillo FC's goalkeeper Pablo Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Elpasillo FC were the better team. Elpasillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
