The supporters of Pueblito AFC booed when Goldney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Aritza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Odilon was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Justo Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Prudencio Distiratsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Christian Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Senio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Goldney's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Aritza came free, but Honorato Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Claus in the 83rd minute of play forced Pueblito AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Ovando in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Pueblito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Claus came free, but Aurelio Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
