Spectators: 7577 (Terracing: 5683, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristobal Primeiro got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Lidon got free with Alvaro Abadia in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Abadia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Lidon in the 3rd minute. Valentin Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Abadia having to interfere. Alvaro Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grant Danes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alvaro Abadia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grant Danes went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nereo Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Agustin Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Confederacion Argentina's Alvaro Abadia got control of the ball when Agustín Martegani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Confederacion Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Lidon came free, but Alvaro Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Lidon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Alvaro Abadia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andres Fiz charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Fiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Ombu got a freekick which was hit by Andres Fiz. Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ombu's attentive Epifanio Giraldo managed to snatch the ball when Norberto Matai made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Cristobal Primeiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ombu's Agustin Rossi. Agustin Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 33 minutes, Grant Danes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grant Danes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Lidon in the 37th minute of play forced Confederacion Argentina's goalkeeper Alvaro Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Valentin Lidon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alvaro Abadia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valentin Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alvaro Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Samuel Gartzi in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ombu's Godfredo Mendez. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grant Danes was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frans Lundgren in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Abadia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Confederacion Argentina's Alvaro Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Lundgren in the 61st minute of play. Agustin Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Primeiro in the 62nd minute. After 65 minutes Ombu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nereo Matei who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nereo Matei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustin Rossi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Agustin Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Confederacion Argentina's Cristobal Primeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agustin Rossi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nereo Matei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Frans Lundgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Abadia. Confederacion Argentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frans Lundgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Alvaro Abadia came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Ombu's Frans Lundgren. But to his dismay, Frans Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Confederacion Argentina's Alvaro Abadia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Danes in the 83rd minute of play. Nereo Matei hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Confederacion Argentina getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Samuel Gartzi hit a great ball. If Frans Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ombu support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
