Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Domingos Sadurni made the kick off which started today's match. Pablo Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Lidon in the 4th minute of play. If Andres Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Valentin Lidon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pablo Bide to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Lidon got free with Pablo Bide in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ermegildo Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Ombu's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Geofredo came free, but Agustin Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Ombu's Valentin Lidon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Bide was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Domingos Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide got control of the ball when Valentin Lidon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Valentin Lidon put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pablo Bide. Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Danes in the 29th minute of play. Elpasillo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Valentin Lidon scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Bide, making the score, 4-0. If Valentin Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Elpasillo FC from getting a goal against them. Elpasillo FC's Domingos Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Lidon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Bide having to make a save. After 40 played minutes Elpasillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Osmundo. After having played for 41 minutes, Valentin Lidon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Lidon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Martegani in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Ombu got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Martegani. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grant Danes in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grant Danes made a kick off. Pablo Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Elpasillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Danes came free, but Pablo Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Elpasillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Ombu's Valentin Lidon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Bide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Pablo Bide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Martegani, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jacobo Soter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Rossi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Valentin Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Tartalo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elpasillo FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arnaldo Tartalo hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Valentin Lidon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Bide. Elpasillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Valentin Lidon scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Bide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Danes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elpasillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Intxixu was slow to take the kick. During this time Ombu's players had a chance to rest. Omar Intxixu made a great header on Ombu's corner, it was just that Elpasillo FC's Pablo Bide managed to reach the ball for a save. During the 83rd minute of the match Arnaldo Tartalo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arnaldo Tartalo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Arnaldo Tartalo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes in the game Benigno Osmundo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Domingos Sadurni. Pablo Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Lidon in the 89th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Omar Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ombu's Omar Intxixu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elpasillo FC.
