Herrera's Luka Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luka Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Bikendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Luka Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Bikendi having to interfere. Victorino Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Montero hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Herrera booed when Club Atlético Aldosivi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Hugo Pires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Bikendi skillfully saved the ball. Luka Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Bikendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luka Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Herensuge came free, but Erasmo Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Luka Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Stålberg having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Matei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Stålberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Ongile went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ulises Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Robert Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Serafin Matei notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Herrera's Robert Stålberg. Robert Stålberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Matei in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Luka Romero made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Bikendi. Club Atlético Aldosivi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Aldosivi's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Romero came free, but Erasmo Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Romero in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Aldosivi's goalkeeper Erasmo Bikendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Serafin Matei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herrera's Robert Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Matei in the 96th minute of play.
