In the 9th match minute, Legion Roja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Austin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Moreira in the 10th minute of play forced Legion Roja FC's goalkeeper Cesar Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Legion Roja FC's zone, Waldemar Hatman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Malvin came out of the goal and Waldemar Hatman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chira AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rolando Montrel hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Dan Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Hatman got free with Cesar Malvin in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Waldemar Hatman made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Malvin. Legion Roja FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Waldemar Hatman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Cesar Malvin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Legion Roja FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rolando Montrel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 39th minute of the game, Waldemar Hatman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Ricardo Roland charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Roland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Benvido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Cesar Malvin made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Santos to make the kick off. With a little luck, Chira AFC's Paraskevas Katis got control of the ball when Florentino Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulvio Lozzi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Fulvio Lozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes in the game Ricardo Roland got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Cesar Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Santos got free with Paraskevas Katis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Arsenio Benvido suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ricardo Roland was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. If Gregorio Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Moreira in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Legion Roja FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aureliano Austin hit a great ball. Cesar Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Bide in the 85th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Legion Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Xabier. Chira AFC's Gregorio Bide got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chira AFC's attentive 齐寒昂 managed to snatch the ball when Amado Matro made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Octavio Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Malvin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 96 minutes into the match, Chira AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Karmel came free, but Paraskevas Katis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Chira AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
