Herrera's Robert Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Santos in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Tobias Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Dante Eguen notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Legion Roja FC's Cesar Malvin. Cesar Malvin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Herrera's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Karmel came free, but Robert Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Malvin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Florentino Santos made the kick off in the second half. Cesar Malvin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Herrera fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legion Roja FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
