Isaias Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Firman in the 5th minute of the match. Walmir de Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Isaias Lugo made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Walmir de Castro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of RIVER PLATE's Isaias Lugo. Isaias Lugo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Isidro Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE's Isaias Lugo got control of the ball when Walmir de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Lugo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarrilera AFC's Isidro Cresenciano. But to his dismay, Isidro Cresenciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Walmir de Castro had several of the RIVER PLATE's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Isaias Lugo as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Isidro Cresenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferrocarrilera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Cresenciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Lugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Ferrocarrilera AFC's Isaias Lugo threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidro Cresenciano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Walmir de Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaias Lugo having to make a save. Isidro Cresenciano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaias Lugo came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidro Cresenciano slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Mieszko Tomporowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Isidro Cresenciano took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Lugo. Isaias Lugo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Isaias Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Cresenciano in the 38th minute of play. Eustaquio Nesor hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, RIVER PLATE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walmir de Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Isaias Lugo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Cresenciano was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ferrocarrilera AFC's Walmir de Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Lugo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Abadie charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Abadie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Abadie. After a rather tough play, RIVER PLATE's Hilario Silbestre got a free kick in the 54th minute. Isaias Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Nesor got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Walmir de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Lugo. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Lugo should have stopped the shot. Isidro Cresenciano took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Lugo. Isaias Lugo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Eguntsenti during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Isidro Cresenciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Isaias Lugo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Cresenciano went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Isidro Cresenciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Lugo. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Lugo should have stopped the shot. Isidro Cresenciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaias Lugo having to make a save. Isaias Lugo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrocarrilera AFC's Walmir de Castro. But to his dismay, Walmir de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Isidro Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Isaias Lugo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrocarrilera AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Cresenciano in the 93rd minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Isaias Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Walmir de Castro put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isaias Lugo. There was no doubt that Ferrocarrilera AFC were the better team. Ferrocarrilera AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
