Anselmo Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Chiquito Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Benino charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Benino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Eloy Resto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Benino. In the 21st minute Faustino Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquito Romero having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Denis Ishmael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eloy Resto F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eloy Resto F.C.'s Denis Ishmael got a free kick in the 24th minute. Anselmo Felipillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chiquito Romero having to make a save. Chiquito Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Joanes in the 27th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Anselmo Felipillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eloy Resto F.C.'s Chiquito Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Gilberto Dolfos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Anselmo Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Felipillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquito Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilberto Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Luciano Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Fernanco in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Saul Joanes hit a great ball. Luciano Cordarryl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hernan Benino. After 39 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Anselmo Felipillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquito Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chiquito Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Felipillo in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chiquito Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Felipillo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Anselmo Felipillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Chiquito Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 60 minutes into the match, Eloy Resto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Felipillo came free, but Chiquito Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Dolfos came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chiquito Romero could save by the left post. Chiquito Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Felipillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Boca Juniors's Anselmo Felipillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chiquito Romero. Chiquito Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Anselmo Felipillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Chiquito Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Eloy Resto F.C.'s Narciso Fernandez got a free kick in the 67th minute. Anselmo Felipillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Resto F.C.'s Chiquito Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Eloy Resto F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Eloy Resto F.C.'s Chiquito Romero got control of the ball when Gilberto Dolfos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chiquito Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Felipillo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Mauro Inko replaced Anselmo Felipillo. After a rather tough play, Eloy Resto F.C.'s Narciso Fernandez got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Gilberto Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Artemio Argoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquito Romero. Eloy Resto F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Argoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Boca Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eloy Resto F.C..
