Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Salvador Artal got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Fulgencio Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Iratxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Artemio Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play, Vikings FC's Basilio Jacob made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Gervaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fulgencio Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Balumba got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Lehior. After having played for 19 minutes, Basilio Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikings FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vikings FC's Fulgencio Iratxo in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute Fulgencio Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Balumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. Balumba's Artemio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Iratxo in the 43rd minute of play. Basilio Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Gervaso having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Iratxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Vikings FC booed when Balumba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Iratxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Gervaso was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Vikings FC's Fulgencio Iratxo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 56 minutes in the game, fortunately Artemio Gervaso had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The referee ignored Vikings FC's protests and gave Antonio Ilazki a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Vikings FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balumba:s goal. Matias Dantae walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 79th minute, Salvador Artal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balumba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Nereo Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Tineo having to interfere. In the 89th play minute Fulgencio Iratxo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artemio Gervaso. 1-4. Artemio Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Mikolas in the 93rd minute of the match. Balumba's Artemio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Iratxo in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Vikings FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Balumba.
