The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 邵傲铮 helped the player get up and apologised. 邵傲铮 hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Honorio Stephen went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Club Comunicaciones's zone, Luisito Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Rocendo came out of the goal and Luisito Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Marino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Rocendo having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Guerra got free with Inocencio Rocendo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rômulo Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Inocencio Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Abad in the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Club Comunicaciones's Inocencio Rocendo got control of the ball when Gürel Zeyni tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ariel Ortega to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Eduardo Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Comunicaciones and the Sabalero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Esparteiro. 68 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Marino came free, but Inocencio Rocendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inocencio Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Marino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Sabalero's Basilio Eneko was substituted for Luisito Marino. In the 75th minute of the match Sabalero got a corner. Club Comunicaciones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Stephen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sabalero's Honorio Stephen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Inocencio Rocendo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Inocencio Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 邵傲铮 hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Inocencio Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Inocencio Rocendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Guerra went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Rômulo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Inocencio Rocendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rômulo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Rocendo having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sabalero fully deserved thier win.
