Marcus Rashford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Markel having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Octavio Chale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Almacén San Jose booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Baldovino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Almacén San Jose defense, Marcus Rashford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Markel. The Almacén San Jose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Markel should have stopped the shot. Rigoberto Hermon was slow to take the kick. During this time Ascacibar-Pérez's players had a chance to rest. Rigoberto Hermon made a great header on Ascacibar-Pérez's corner, it was just that Almacén San Jose's Felipe Markel managed to reach the ball for a save. The Almacén San Jose players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ascacibar-Pérez were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Otsoa was the one to do the kick off. Angel Cordarrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Felipe Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ascacibar-Pérez were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Almacén San Jose's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rigoberto Hermon took the corner. Rigoberto Hermon made a great header on Ascacibar-Pérez's corner, it was just that Almacén San Jose's Felipe Markel managed to reach the ball for a save. Angel Cordarrol struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Felipe Markel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascacibar-Pérez. Felipe Markel stood somewhat misplaced when Marcus Rashford came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 97 minute.
