Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Kemen got the match started through his kick off. FENIX FC's Jesus Ramond suffered a concussion after 3 minutes and had to leave the field. Blue Mountain State's Ovidio Tello got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Denis Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Kemen came free, but Bruno Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Harkaitz during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denis Harkaitz hit a great ball. FENIX FC's Wieslaw Olejniczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Tello in the 22nd minute of play. Reynaldo Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Paez having to interfere. Rene Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mambru came free, but Wieslaw Olejniczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FENIX FC's Reynaldo Kemen suffered a concussion after 30 minutes and had to leave the field. When Domingo Rocendo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. In the 31st minute, Domingo Rocendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Bruno Paez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Egoi. Vicente Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bruno Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Firme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rene Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Mountain State's zone, Rene Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Paez came out of the goal and Rene Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Paez having to interfere. Esteban Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Cortez to make the kick off. When Esteban Ponc came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FENIX FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Ponc couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Egoi came free, but Bruno Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Esteban Ponc notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Blue Mountain State's Bruno Paez. Bruno Paez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Esteban Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot. FENIX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ponc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Paez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Egoi in the 63rd minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Bruno Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Esteban Ponc came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FENIX FC fans jumped to their feet. Blue Mountain State's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Ponc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Bruno Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Esteban Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Paez having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Esteban Ponc put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Paez. If Ivan Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
