The supporters of FENIX FC booed when Deportivo Vino Tinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Rene Egoi made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Bastiaro. Deportivo Vino Tinto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rene Egoi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Bastiaro. Gavino Bastiaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Wieslaw Olejniczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Primeiro in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Esteban Ponc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Egoi in the 25th minute of play forced Deportivo Vino Tinto's goalkeeper Gavino Bastiaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Rene Egoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Bastiaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, FENIX FC's goalkeeper Wieslaw Olejniczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Pelagius. Gavino Bastiaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Kemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gavino Bastiaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Vino Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Kemen came free, but Gavino Bastiaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Primeiro made a kick off. Deportivo Vino Tinto's Gavino Bastiaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Weather in the 54th minute of play. Gavino Bastiaro came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FENIX FC's Esteban Ponc. But to his dismay, Esteban Ponc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Reynaldo Kemen succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Deportivo Vino Tinto's Gavino Bastiaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Vino Tinto from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Reynaldo Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Bastiaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Kemen in the 68th minute of play. If Esteban Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Bastiaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reynaldo Kemen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 71 minute of play. When Esteban Ponc fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENIX FC's protests and gave Esteban Ponc a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes FENIX FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Ponc. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Christian Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Vino Tinto's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Primeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wieslaw Olejniczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gavino Bastiaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Weather in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Reynaldo Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bastiaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Olejniczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. FENIX FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
