To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alfredo Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Cleto Mel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ameghino AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrella de Boedo the free kick. In the 13th minute, Cleto Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dónaldur Trumpf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Dónaldur Trumpf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alfredo Urtzi made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Leonardo Quirze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The supporters of Ameghino AC booed when Estrella de Boedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Estrella de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Martxot came free, but Dibag Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dibag Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dónaldur Trumpf in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Urtzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Quirze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dibag Martinez made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Estrella de Boedo's Ronaldo Gaúcho got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the game, one of Estrella de Boedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th minute, Konrad Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Mel in the 71st minute of play forced Estrella de Boedo's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Quirze in the 73rd minute of the match. Leonardo Quirze kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Dónaldur Trumpf made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ameghino AC's Alfredo Urtzi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Estrella de Boedo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicolas Elixio hit a great ball. Ameghino AC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
