When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Octavio Mercurio sped through CANCER FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximo Izotz. Delmiro Tanio had several of the Aragonés FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cosme Dei as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Abel Hitzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Bernabe Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Abel Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aragonés FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Hitzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Aragonés FC's Alonzo Luar got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Hitzeder was the one to do the kick off. Santiago Bemabe struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Cosme Dei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANCER FC. Cosme Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, CANCER FC's Delmiro Tanio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Hitzeder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Izotz came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Hitzeder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 79th minute. Zacarias Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Aragonés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Tanio came free, but Cosme Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aragonés FC's zone, Delmiro Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Dei came out of the goal and Delmiro Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The CANCER FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Aragonés FC to win.
