The goalkeeper, Generoso Roano, was totally fooled by Messi FC's Ntinos Karaliopoulos, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. UE Pumpi Brumafio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Carlos Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Generoso Roano, making the score, 3-0. In the 16th minute Carlos Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Errolan having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, UE Pumpi Brumafio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Breogan to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Messi FC's João Francisco Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Roano. Generoso Roano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Carlos Cardoso had several of the UE Pumpi Brumafio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Generoso Roano as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 37th minute Carlos Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Messi FC got a corner. UE Pumpi Brumafio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ntinos Karaliopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carolo Ermengol was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After having played for 44 minutes, Carlos Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UE Pumpi Brumafio's Ernesto Beltran got a free kick in the 46th minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Roano was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Generoso Roano made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Cristian León sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Generoso Roano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Messi FC's Sanson Cano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 56th match minute, UE Pumpi Brumafio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Breogan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Cardoso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Messi FC's Ruben Veremundo was substituted for Cristian León. The supporters of Messi FC booed when UE Pumpi Brumafio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Roano was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UE Pumpi Brumafio's goalkeeper Generoso Roano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andres Jerold hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Sanson Cano came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Messi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sanson Cano couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Ruben Veremundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Roano. UE Pumpi Brumafio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Veremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 94th minute, Carlos Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Messi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Messi FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
