Janta FC's Erasmo Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Aragones in the 9th minute of play. If Florentino Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Refugio was a little too slow when Ciriaco Gabirel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Janta FC's zone, Esteve Tiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Izel came out of the goal and Esteve Tiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Janta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Enzo Steven hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Esteve Tiso made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Izel. Janta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Janta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Aragones came free, but Erasmo Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Basilio Acosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Viviano struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Erasmo Izel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La banda de la mema. Erasmo Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Tiso in the 42nd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Raymon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Florentino Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Izel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Izel having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Raymon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliberto Refugio was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 65 minutes, Esteve Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La banda de la mema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Tiso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteve Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Janta FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Gabirel. Florentino Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Erasmo Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Janta FC's Enzo Steven got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Aragones in the 77th minute of play forced Janta FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Izel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La banda de la mema's Florentino Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Janta FC's Basilio Acosta seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Basilio Acosta the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Janta FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Basilio Acosta had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Basilio Acosta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. La banda de la mema were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
