Erubiel Abreu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Refugio. Feliberto Refugio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Feliberto Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Feliberto Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Brion in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, La banda de la mema's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Abreu came free, but Feliberto Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Godfredo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Severiano Txilar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Jeika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Txilar couldn't finish the play. After the first half Jeika were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Bixintxo to make the kick off. Erubiel Abreu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Refugio. Feliberto Refugio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 56 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Brion dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Refugio, 0-7. In the 60th minute Godfredo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Abreu scored 0-9 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Refugio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Martin Gorka fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La banda de la mema's protests and gave Martin Gorka a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Godfredo Bixintxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Refugio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. The supporters of Jeika booed when La banda de la mema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Erubiel Abreu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Feliberto Refugio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 96 minutes into the match, La banda de la mema's goalkeeper Feliberto Refugio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Brion. The La banda de la mema fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jeika were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
