Spectators: 7224 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Prodan Sokol's Demetrio Spiazzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Prodan Sokol's Giorgos Aguero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Oihenarte. Baldomero Oihenarte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Sabagasta FC booed when Prodan Sokol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Bronder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, one of Prodan Sokol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Sabagasta FC. Anacleto Cordairo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angel Neto. 1-1. When Demetrio Spiazzi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prodan Sokol's protests and gave Demetrio Spiazzi a yellow card for diving instead. Demetrio Spiazzi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Angel Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Ledesma in the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Demetrio Spiazzi took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Baldomero Oihenarte to make any attempt to save it. Angel Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Pagomari in the 20th minute of play. If Apolo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Samuelsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Prodan Sokol's Marek Bronder seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marek Bronder the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Prodan Sokol protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marek Bronder had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Prodan Sokol fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Anacleto Cordairo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Prodan Sokol getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Demetrio Spiazzi hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sabagasta FC's Anacleto Cordairo tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Edmund Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Anacleto Cordairo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Neto skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Sabagasta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eriberto Birila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Sabagasta FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Benito Estavan hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Birila during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute Apolo Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Rutenio in the 40th minute of play forced Prodan Sokol's goalkeeper Angel Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giorgos Aguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sabagasta FC's Leonardo Chorache got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Marcelino Erroman, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Baldomero Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Aguero in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Prodan Sokol's Angel Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Segio in the 51st minute of play. Severino Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sabagasta FC! Marcelino Erroman walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Angel Neto was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Benito Estavan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benito Estavan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 74 minutes, Leonardo Chorache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabagasta FC and the Prodan Sokol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute of the match Marcelino Erroman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Oihenarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Giorgos Aguero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Oihenarte. Sabagasta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giorgos Aguero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Anacleto Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Marcelino Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Severino Ledesma in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Prodan Sokol's Eriberto Birila. When Casimiro Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabagasta FC's protests and gave Casimiro Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Sabagasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Ourente. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Severino Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prodan Sokol's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabagasta FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Prodan Sokol.
