Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anselmo Luzaide got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of River Plate F.C booed when Cerrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Luzaide took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Braulio Patxi. Braulio Patxi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes River Plate F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Luzaide. Teodoro Domiku came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrillos's Paolo Feliu. But to his dismay, Paolo Feliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, River Plate F.C's Herminio Godoy got a free kick in the 18th minute. Humberto Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Teodoro Domiku made a huge save. Teodoro Domiku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Humberto Quiroga rounded River Plate F.C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 30th minute, River Plate F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paolo Feliu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Paolo Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Teodoro Domiku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cerrillos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Humberto Quiroga hit a great ball. Anselmo Luzaide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Patxi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Paolo Feliu made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. River Plate F.C's Teodoro Domiku tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Domiku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Humberto Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerrillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Domiku breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Quiroga in the 72nd minute of play forced River Plate F.C's goalkeeper Teodoro Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Patxi having to interfere. In the 88th minute Humberto Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Cerrillos got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oxel. 95 minutes into the game, Anselmo Luzaide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Braulio Patxi. Anselmo Luzaide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. There was no doubt that Cerrillos were the better team. Cerrillos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
