Christer Törnqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Braulio Patxi made a huge save. The supporters of Mangrullo AFC booed when Cerrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mangrullo AFC's Leon Txilar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Braulio Patxi. That made the score 3-1 after 30 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Mangrullo AFC's Braulio Patxi threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leon Txilar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Braulio Patxi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Stevngaard in the 43rd minute. If Leon Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 78th minute of the match, Humberto Quiroga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Normando saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the match, Gorm Krejsgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Patxi. Cerrillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gorm Krejsgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1.
