In the 2nd match minute, Guayamba AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Elija to maneuver through the defense. Matias Gonsalve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Odilon having to make a save. In the 7th minute of the match Pastor Beremundo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Ibar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Argyris Papapetrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Louge FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Argyris Papapetrou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Odilon having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Louge FC's Basilio Matxin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Odilon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 22nd minute of play forced Guayamba AFC's goalkeeper Julio Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Gonsalve made a great header on Louge FC's corner, it was just that Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Guayamba AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Matxin came free, but Julio Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Matxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Matias Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Louge FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Basilio Matxin made the kick off in the second half. Julio Odilon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Canor in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Matxin got free with Julio Odilon in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Lauro in the 59th minute of play forced Louge FC's goalkeeper Modesto Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Matxin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Odilon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Julio Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Louge FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Salvador Amaya hit a great ball. When Florentino Lauro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Guayamba AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Lauro couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Louge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Elija came free, but Modesto Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes, Basilio Matxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Louge FC and the Guayamba AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guayamba AFC booed when Louge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Guayamba AFC defense, Matias Gonsalve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Odilon. The Guayamba AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Odilon should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Guayamba AFC's Florentino Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Ibar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Guayamba AFC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Guayamba AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Louge FC:s goal. Matias Gonsalve shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon got control of the ball when Basilio Matxin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guayamba AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Argyris Papapetrou 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. In the 99th minute, Anibal Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
