Nestor Enekoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Julio Odilon made a huge save. Emanuel Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Nestor Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 38 minutes of play, Bresikas's Nestor Enekoitz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Odilon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Anibal Amor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayamba AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bresikas the free kick. Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Anaya in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ulises Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Nestor Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guayamba AFC's Julio Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Stolpe in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Bresikas's Ulises Benet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Odilon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Karl-Åke Stolpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bresikas's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Stolpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Åke Stolpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Odilon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Åke Stolpe ran back to his position shaking his head. When Nestor Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bresikas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Bresikas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
