When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Abel Nesor put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kåre Magnusson. If Denis Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Serafin Rosario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pumas Club and the Bresikas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Abel Nesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kåre Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Benet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Perrando. That made the score 5-2 in the 40 minute of play. When Los Pumas Club's Abel Nesor in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bresikas's goalie prevented a goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Enekoitz was the one to do the kick off. He walked away shaking his head. Los Pumas Club's Leonel Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Benet in the 67th minute of play. Leonel Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Anaya in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Nesor in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Perrando came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Bresikas's Ulises Benet. But to his dismay, Ulises Benet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Denis Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Enekoitz. Nestor Enekoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Abel Nesor in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kåre Magnusson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Pumas Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bresikas.
