But to his dismay, Basilio Gilen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Gilen in the 6th minute of play forced Club Empalme Graneros's goalkeeper Goel Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Club Empalme Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Urbasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teo Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 18 minutes of play, Club Empalme Graneros's Gaudencio Urbasa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Hartz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Ruud Gullit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Uriel Pagomari took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Teo Hartz to make any attempt to save it. Goel Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Ruud Gullit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente Rivadavia's Teo Hartz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruud Gullit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Teo Hartz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Ismael Estavan got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Ruud Gullit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Pagomari in the 43rd minute of play forced Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Teo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruud Gullit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Club Empalme Graneros booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes Club Empalme Graneros got a freekick which was hit by Zühtü Özkaya. 54 minutes into the game, Tobias Primo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente Rivadavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Empalme Graneros the free kick. Tobias Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The throw-in from Rodrigo Ovando in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Empalme Graneros's Gaudencio Urbasa. Basilio Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Garin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Serafino Montez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Hartz skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st match minute, Independiente Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Estavan to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the game Rodrigo Ovando made a throw-in which Ramiro Cordaryal played forward. After 80 minutes, Leonel Uzuri made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Independiente Rivadavia's Teo Hartz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Gilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Goel Keep made a huge save. Teo Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Club Empalme Graneros's Uriel Pagomari made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Hartz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Empalme Graneros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
