Gaston Roldanillo scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albano Omero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes in the game Gaston Roldanillo after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Albano Omero. A very good opportunity. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Naelio made a kick off. Ezequiel Elorri charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Campbell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Gamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
