Spectators: 7455 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Gamus got the match started through his kick off. Albano Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Perpinya in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match, Eloy Berriotxoa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Montrel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 7 played minutes EVERTON de CHILE got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Santo. 8 minutes into the match Gaspar Etxeberri climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Marcelo Montrel. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Hector Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. EVERTON de CHILE's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Gotzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Omero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Ulises Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hector Gotzon came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the EVERTON de CHILE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Gotzon couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes EVERTON de CHILE got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Pello. Albano Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Gotzon in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Manzanos defense, Gualterio Perpinya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Omero. The Los Manzanos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Omero should have stopped the shot. Hector Gotzon took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Omero. Albano Omero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 28th minute, Hector Gotzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EVERTON de CHILE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Albano Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Gotzon in the 31st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Ulises Eguen put in a rough tackle. The supporters of EVERTON de CHILE booed when Los Manzanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Gotzon took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Omero. Albano Omero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Gualterio Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Albano Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Montrel made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Julian Gamus sent off a good shot on target. Los Manzanos's Albano Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Cugat in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Cugat got free with Albano Omero in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the game, Hector Gotzon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albano Omero. Hector Gotzon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Manny in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Omero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Gaspar Etxeberri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Marcelo Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Gamus in the 60th minute of play forced EVERTON de CHILE's goalkeeper Marcelo Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to EVERTON de CHILE getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gualterio Perpinya hit a great ball. Albano Omero was a little too slow when Gualterio Perpinya got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-6. Julian Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcelo Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Zeledon Erramun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Manzanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EVERTON de CHILE the free kick. A collision led to Los Manzanos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zeledon Erramun hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Hector Gotzon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Manzanos's Albano Omero didn't even have to move. Albano Omero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Perpinya in the 82nd minute of the match. Cornelio Maule hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Albano Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Perpinya in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Gaspar Etxeberri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Montrel. EVERTON de CHILE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Etxeberri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. Hector Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Omero having to interfere.
