The supporters of Club Empalme Graneros booed when Uriburu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriburu's Alejandro Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Gullit in the 7th minute of play. Alejandro Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Leonel Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Empalme Graneros's Goel Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Perez in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Perez in the 14th minute of play forced Club Empalme Graneros's goalkeeper Goel Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaudencio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Ruud Gullit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Empalme Graneros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 58th minute, one of Uriburu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uriburu. Arturo Bitxintxo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 62nd minute Uriel Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Club Empalme Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zühtü Özkaya to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Uzuri got free with Alejandro Iturri in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Uriel Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Empalme Graneros's supporters rose to their feet, but Uriel Pagomari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Iturri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Uriburu's Desiderio Oidor got a free kick in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Empalme Graneros's Zühtü Özkaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejandro Iturri. That made the score 0-6 after 85 minutes of play. If Gaudencio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Empalme Graneros's Gaudencio Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Iturri having to interfere. Uriburu's Alejandro Iturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Uriburu from getting a goal against them. Leonel Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
