Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristo Neto kicked off to start the match. Gösta Kihlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Evangelista having to make a save. Freddy Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Edgard Fonda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The san isidro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Devoto 22 defense, Cristo Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Evangelista. The Devoto 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Evangelista should have stopped the shot. Devoto 22's Freddy Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Kihlberg in the 29th minute of play. Gösta Kihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Evangelista having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Cristo Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Evangelista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Eduardo Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. san isidro's Edgard Fonda got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of san isidro booed when Devoto 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Chepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Devoto 22 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. san isidro were winning 0-6.

Devoto 22's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gösta Kihlberg 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Cristo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Freddy Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Ignazio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Ignazio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Devoto 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Kihlberg struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cleto Camerino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Evangelista. That made the score 0-8 in the 64 minute of play. Cristo Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Evangelista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Gösta Kihlberg took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Evangelista. Freddy Evangelista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristo Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Freddy Evangelista made a huge save.
