Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Lia in the 3rd minute of play forced Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Isaac Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MessiDeTroya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaspar Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Isauro in the 13th minute of the match. Edgard Weterio made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Isaac Monico sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Lucado charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Lucado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Bengals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Lucado to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bengals getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Benigno Walme hit a great ball. Bengals's Edgard Weterio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Bengals from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Bengals got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Lucado. 35 minutes into the match, Bengals's goalkeeper Edgard Weterio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Lia. Bengals's Fabio Isauro got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Restu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Bengals's Paulino Mero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Policarpio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Horado made a kick off. In the 51st minute Bernabe Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Uriel Servando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Weterio. Bengals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Servando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gaspar Policarpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Lucado in the 57th minute of play. Eduardo Telmo's late challenge caught a Bengals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Telmo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MessiDeTroya's Eduardo Telmo got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Bengals's Aldo Ascencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paulino Mero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gaspar Policarpio made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Uriel Servando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Weterio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Norberto Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Aldo Ascencio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Edgard Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Roque Beltran's late challenge caught a Bengals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, MessiDeTroya's Gaspar Policarpio got control of the ball when Paulino Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Paulino Mero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 played minutes Bengals got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Merexildo. Edgard Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Monico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MessiDeTroya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
