Edgard Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Sayveon in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Bengals's Edgard Weterio got control of the ball when Inocencio Chepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eduardo Mannie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Inocencio Chepe made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Weterio. Bengals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Freddy Evangelista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Mero went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes, Pablo Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devoto 22 and the Bengals players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Pablo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Jonatan Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Timoteo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Devoto 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Feo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Weterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Devoto 22 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bengals had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
