In the 16th minute Herrier were awarded a corner. Hubert Esparza went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Herrier's corner Hubert Esparza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angel Fonso quite easily take care of the ball. When Astor Diagur came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Herrier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Diagur couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Llorenc made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Angel Fonso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 28 minutes into the match Dalmacio Llorenc climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Angel Fonso. With an all-out effort, Herrier's Angel Fonso threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Prudencio Lehior, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonides Senio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sixto Txartiko hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Virgílio Bezerra in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Herrier's Astor Diagur. When Herrier's Prudencio Lehior in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de la Plata's goalie prevented a goal.
